THE ARGALI

It begins in the remote ridges of the Altai Mountains, where the air is thin, the winters silent, and the land is shared with the world’s toughest and proudest sheep: the Argali.

Chapter 1

SELECTION

Each piece is carefully inspected, fingertips moving slowly across the grain to feel what the eye alone cannot see. Our artisan selects the few hides worthy of being part of a Miramonti loafer.

Chapter 2

CUT

With a blade honed to a satin edge, the leather is cut not by force, but by instinct. The hand guides the steel along the natural tension of the material, carving pieces with millimetric precision.

Chapter 3

FORM

The exterior panels are joined with a slim, tonal seam along the sides and heel, each stitch placed so precisely that the line reads almost like a pencil stroke on suede.

Chapter 4

SOLE

The gum sole and the upper are aligned and cemented together in one fluid motion. As the materials settle into each other, the loafer takes its first confident step towards completion.

Chapter 5

FINISHING

Each loafer is brushed, softened, and brought to life. Only when the shoe feels effortless, is it slipped into its cotton dust bag and sealed inside the Miramonti box, ready for the journey ahead.
